Project Overview

This role involves the Business Analyst to play a crucial role in the interactions between Business and IT, contributing to the company’s technological advancement and helping achieve its ambitious goals. The role involves supporting the transformation of the energy landscape to support European climate policy and delivering the infrastructure of the future.

Key Skills

• Business Process Modelling: In-depth knowledge of business process modelling and data modelling (business information modelling).
• Functional Specifications: Experience in writing and validating functional specifications.
• Agile/Scrum Methodology: Thorough knowledge of agile/scrum methodology.
• Analytical and Conceptual Skills: Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
• Project Management: Good project management skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Product Design and Evolution: Support the business in developing designs for new products and driving the ongoing evolution of existing products.
• Business Expectations and Modelling: Define business expectations and model the information and operational processes leading to the design or ongoing evolution of IT tools.
• Data Governance: Investigate and formalize data lineage to enforce consistent data governance and foster data trust by defining and implementing data quality rules.
• Requirement Analysis: Analyze and describe the requirements for the solution based on business needs.
• Product Backlog Management: Maintain the product backlog and help shape its priorities in close collaboration with a Product Owner employing agile/scrum methodology.
• Functional Analysis Validation: Validate the functional analysis supplied by IT to ensure the proposed solution meets specifications.
• Implementation Coordination: Coordinate the implementation of applications from different fields within cross-functional projects, assessing impacts and gap analysis.
