YOUR CHALLENGES

As Business Analyst WMS, you will be part of an enthusiastic and driven team that ensures the smooth implementation of new customers or functionalities in the H.Essers IT platform. You liaise between the customer, the operational teams within H.Essers and the technical support team. Together, you build solutions in the in-house developed warehouse management system (WMS) and help think about the future of the applications.

H.Essers is a fast-growing company with several branches at home and abroad. This means that the IT landscape needs to evolve continuously, and the systems must help support the new business. For example, you will be working on the construction and roll-out of the new cloud-based warehouse management system according to the latest methodologies to support our warehouse operations even better. Process-based thinking, stakeholder management and change management are the keys to success here.

What do you do specifically:

• You are responsible for the successful implementation of new customers. You guide them through the process from A to Z, always offering a custom-made solution within our own developed WMS system.
• Using workshops, you capture the needs of both customers and internal stakeholders to come to a thorough analysis of the logistics flows. You translate these into unambiguous requirements for the WMS system.
• You then keep the customer informed of the further progress of the project based on the project plan and monitor workload, cost and scope.
• Besides the customer projects, you also work structurally on the further expansion of the WMS system. Here, you design solutions to support the company’s growth ambition, whereby you monitor reusability and modularity.
• From the business perspective, you identify strategic segments and help build these new processes.
• Depending on your strengths and own ambitions, we offer you the opportunity to develop further in certain sub-domains such as continuous improvement, application owner or product expert.

YOUR TALENTS

You have a master’s degree in an economic field, preferably logistics or a similar background based on experience. You have a strong interest in supply chain and are keen to become a key player in it over time. Thanks to your work experience, you can then conceptualise and propose things with a critical eye. You are result-oriented, with a focus on risk and quality. You enjoy variety, working independently and in a team and do not hesitate to share interesting ideas with the business or fellow IT professionals. You can communicate fluently and clearly both orally and in writing at various levels, both in Dutch and in English.
