Our client, a company specialised in the insurance sector based in Brussels, is looking for his new Business Controller. You will be an integral part of the organization, providing valuable insights to management and partnering with stakeholders to improve business processes and drive profitability. You will use your financial expertise to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations that go beyond the numbers.

Description


As Business Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing multi-year business plans, monthly forecasts, and regular updates in collaboration with the management team.
  • Monitoring budgets and KPIs, proposing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Responding to ad hoc requests for financial reporting and controlling to refine our business strategy.
  • Establishing regular dashboards and management reports to analyze factors that impact the profitability of the business.
  • Tracking budget and performance cycles

Profiles


To excel in this role of Business Controller, you should possess:

  • A Master’s degree in finance, economics, or mathematics.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Experience in analysis and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI.
