Objective

As the Business Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the BI strategy and landscape within DPD. The BI team plays a key role in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to generate valuable insights for the business. You will manage a team of BI employees and work closely with other departments to provide data driven solutions.

What will you do in the role of Business Intelligence Manager?

  • You develop and implement a BI strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • You lead, coach and manage a team of BI employees. You ensure processes, procedures and transparent communication.
  • You are responsible for the BI and data landscape: you lead projects taking into account timings and deadlines and you manage the expectations of internal customers. For this you work closely with the other IT teams (service desk, business application and infrastructure).
  • You analyze the business structure and data flows and provide the right solution that increases the efficiency and success of the operational processes.
  • You are responsible for maintaining, upgrading and improving the current BI landscape.
  • You follow up on trends in Business Intelligence and identify opportunities and possibilities that may be of interest to the organization.

What do we expect from you?

  • You hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or are equivalent through experience.
  • You have extensive experience in Business Intelligence and leading people.
  • You have very good people skills and have experience in coaching team members.
  • You have a true data product vision, BI is your passion and you can communicate this in a communicative and enthusiastic way to stakeholders at different levels.
  • You have a good basic knowledge of tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Snowflake etc.
  • Knowledge of English is a must. Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
