For one of our clients we search for a Buyer (fluent Dutch speaking) in the area of Geel, Belgium.

As a front facing representative you will be responsible for the availability of products of which will be bought both effectively and efficiently in order to deliver savings to the Client. You will also be responsible for the sourcing of stock and/or non-stock items as required from new and existing Suppliers in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal procedure(s).

Main (but not limited) responsibilities:

  • Analyse sourcing data & deliver best market price
  • Deliver all client contractual savings as per SLA
  • Obtaining new quotes/amend purchase information
  • Client/Supplier relationship
  • Procurement & close work with procurement team

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • SAP system knowledge or similar program
  • Booking of the parts, expediting and working spreadsheet
  • Previous purchase experience of 1-3 years
  • Excellent proficiency in Dutchand English language
