Job Purpose
- Drive the Belgium CAPEX portfolio within Belgium Sites
- Drive discussions with Site Senior Managers to develop 5Y plan
- Develop Site Master Plan
- Build a Facility Master Plan for each MPU/SPU
In this role you,
- Define and implement in Belgium the process for CapEx budget management and PIP submission (Site and Major site CapEx)
- Understand and drive the dynamics of investment projects with the biotech/vaccines business
- Translate the dynamics of the CapEx projects in Belgium into an accurate and reliable forecast of the overall CapEx budget required (taking into account attrition of running projects and recently identified new CapEx projects)
- Provide a yearly BCR submission agenda with 90% schedule adherence
- Drive the BCR meeting
- Review Briefing docs for BCR and MNIB
- Reach the annual CapEx cashflow target
- Support the management of the Belgium 3-1 CapEx plan
- Develop and diffuse improvement tools for CapEx process
Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with the following required skills to achieve our goals (must-have):
- At least Bachelor degree in Engineering with area of specification in Mechanical and/or process Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience of which minimum 5 years in Investment project disciplines i.e. project management, project control, etc.
- Background in Finance i.e. business strategy and analysis; finance business analysis, etc.
- Knowledge of 6-Sigma and lean management tools is a must
- The job holder will be of sufficient stature and credibility to effectively interface with and influence Business Heads and Belgium Site Senior Manager
- Proficiency in English and French - both written and spoken
- Highly effective at influencing internally
- Highly effective communication skills
- This role requires sound judgment and complex decision making where few precedents and considerable ambiguity may exist
The following characteristics are assets (nice-to-have):
- Qualified Engineer or Master’s degree level (University)
- Other languages are an asset
