????Are you able to secure favorable conditions and make strategic agreements to elevate our purchasing to a higher level? We are looking for a skilled Category Buyer for our headquarters in Zawentem.

Apleona specializes in Integrated Facility Management; taking over the complete management of business premises and buildings for our clients. This includes, for example, the maintenance of premises and building-related installations as well as cleaning, reception, catering, or security.

What will you do?

In this role, you are responsible for developing and managing a reliable network of suppliers. Additionally, you ensure that the internal organization makes purchases from the right organizations and according to the correct purchasing conditions. You also ensure that the purchasing process is monitored and that the organization works according to the standards of the purchasing department, where expenditures as well as risks are limited. You take the lead in large projects and/or purchases that represent significant value and ensure that strategic agreements are made in this regard. This also includes preparing and putting out tenders from our organization. Besides the operational package, you also monitor the performance, quality, and service of our suppliers. You are also responsible for the verification and control of incoming invoices.

What do you need?

• A Bachelor’s level of education or equivalent Procurment training;
• At least 2 years of experience in a purchasing role;
• Strong in contracts, negotiating, and making deals;
• Good analytical and presentation skills;
• Excellent communication skills in French and English and. Dutch
