City Manager in Brussels

We are currently on the hunt for an ambitious and passionate City Managerto oversee the operations inBrussels. The right candidate will be involved in all aspects of the business and report to the Head of Operations BENE / General Manager BENE.

What’s Oppizi?

Oppizi is the first major multi-channel player in offline performance marketing. We’ve built a technology that enables tracking, scaling, and optimizing of flyering campaigns. We offer five channels, Hand-to-hand (in people’s hands), Door-to-Door (in people’s mailboxes), Direct Mail (in people’s mailboxes via national post service), Door Hangers (by leaving them on cars or doorknobs of residential properties) and Sampling (by providing the target audience with relevant products). We operate in ten countries, the main ones being Australia, New Zealand, France, the UK, the US, and Canada. Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support our Brand Ambassadors (BAs) in Brussels within a time-sensitive and demanding environment. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to BAs.
• Liaise and coordinate campaigns with the Ops team and the General Manager BENE.
• Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce costs, and hit our customers’ targets.
• Organize logistics in Brussels and neighboring cities. Work closely with legal and safety departments to make sure activities remain compliant.
• Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget. Prepare and control inventory.
• Ensure recruitment resources, conduct interviews, and oversee Brand Ambassadors levels in each of the cities.
• Support and assist technology development.
• Report directly to the Ops Manager Belgium to set and/or adapt objectives and missions.

Requirements

• University degree in Business or similar field
• Good writing and oral skills. Fluent in French and English (Dutch is a plus)
• Good knowledge of Google Spreadsheets
• Willing to grow with the company and to evolve within Oppizi
• Adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
• Located in Brussels area or willing to relocate to Brussels

Nice to have

• 1+ years of work experience in Operations or Field/Site Management
• Experience in project management and recruitment
• Driving license
