Details about the client: Our client, located in Brussels, is a european insurance company. Active in more than 10 countries, they serve international clients from all over the world. They are currently looking for a Claims Officer to strengthen their team

Description


Your responsibilities - Claims Officer:

  • You will process and analyze claims files from/for our clients.
  • You are responsible for the verification and application of the insurance conditions and for a proactive collection policy.
  • You examine problems, draw the appropriate conclusions and formulate a solution proposal.
  • You are in permanent contact and negotiate with the insured, debtors and brokers for the processing of claims.
  • You are in contact with other operational departments (sales, risk acceptance and policy management) when handling claims files.
  • You ensure the administrative follow-up of the files in the central computer system.
  • You and your colleagues are responsible for the development and follow-up of a worldwide network of lawyers and collection offices, if required.

Your profile - Claims Officer:

  • You hold a bachelor degree in a relevant study field (finance, insurance, foreign trade, law)
  • You speak Dutch. French is an asset
  • You have at least 2 years of experience
