OverviewKEMIN NUTRISURANCE is seeking a: CLS Laboratory ChemistAsCLS Laboratory Chemistyou will be part of our CLS team located in Herentals. Your main responsibility will be the testing and analyzing the results of active components of antioxidants and the oxidative stability of pet food and pet food ingredients.We Are KeminWe are visionaries who see things differently and are inspired by the world around us.   • Execute chemical and physical analysis, focused on the determination of antioxidants and oxidative status on pet food and its ingredients
  • Maintain good laboratory practices in recording data, CLS database, files and logbooks
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy of results, general laboratory maintenance and disposal
  • Contribute to good working conditions for the laboratory
  • Actively participate in research projects and/or field trials
  • Assist in development of new analytical methods, analytical techniques and record these in procedures
  • Updating ISO 17025 and ISO 9002 procedures and documents used by CLS KNE.
  • Assist in the correct execution of sample requests, including making QC and shipment of samples to customers.
  • Replace other members of the CLS team
QualificationsWhat we expect of you
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or equivalent with 1-2yrs experience
  • Good understanding of ISO17025
  • Laboratory working experience or equivalent by education
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Good PC skills
  • Experience in evaluating and interpreting results and writing reports
  • Motivated team player
  • Accurate, well organized
