Communications & Media Coordinator (M/F)

Position

The candidate will be based in our main office at Sint-Stevens-Woluwe (Brussels Area).
The position is in the Administration Department (8 persons), Communications & Media (CM) Team.
The successful candidate will mainly report to the Administration Department Manager.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective social media presence
• Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and failures of communications campaigns and strategies
• Stay up to date on industry trends and improve the company’s visual branding
• Perform outreach and collaborate with universities, journalists, and associations’ members to build strategic partnerships and grow the brand
• Administer and update the intranet and website with creativity, accuracy and efficiency
• Organise the digital events (e.g. company events, job fairs) and support the preparation of physical events
• Prepare press releases and documents for publication
• Develop and implement a communications strategy designed using modern media techniques.

Skills and Experience

• A Bachelor/Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or relevant discipline
• At least 1 year of experience working in a similar position.
• Good knowledge of social media, network platforms, WordPress, Audio-visual software programs and capable of creating visually compelling design compositions
• A good team player who is both flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• A hands-on mentality and eagerness to learn
• Ability to:
  • Efficiently work with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Think critically and have an analytical mind
• Strength to cope with schedules and deadlines
• Excellent written and spoken English.

The following experience would be considered as an asset:

• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Ability to shoot and edit videos with Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects/DaVinci Resolve 16/17
• Use of OBS Studio.
