Our Position

Our Compliance & CSR Officer will become the new team member of our Compliance department located in our headquarters in Leuven.

In this position you will be focusing on tasks related to Compliance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Whistleblowing. For all responsibilities, you will support and advice internal stakeholders.

Within the domain of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) you will be handling our governance certification, donations and coordinate the drafting of our sustainability report.

As we have implemented a Whistleblowing system, you will be involved in case handling of submitted reports.

As For Compliance, You Will
  • Research emerging compliance issues;
  • Manage internal policies in cooperation with the responsible departments;
  • Give training (CSR, business conduct guidelines, Decision Making Rules, anti-fraud, GDPR, Conflict of interest, …) to increase awareness within the organization;
  • Complete an annual risk review;
  • Conduct compliance checks (compliance monitoring on regulatory and ethical standards).

In addition, you will also have the opportunity to go for a 6 month assignment to Japan to perform audits.

In this position you will report to the EMEA Board of Directors (functional to the EMEA Compliance & Legal Director) and you will work together with Internal Audit and Legal Affairs.

Your Profile
  • Master or bachelor’s degree in law or economics
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years PQE in an audit, legal counsel or compliance role
  • Willingness to complete a training program as a certified internal auditor
  • High ethical standards
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid presentation and training skills
  • Fluency in English is a must, other languages are an asset
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of working time within EMEA region
