An international company active in the Banking sector is currently looking to hire a Compliance Monitoring Officer to join their team in Brussels. Thanks to your experience in Banking & Compliance, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role within the Group.

Your main responsibilities as the new Compliance Monitoring Officer will include:
  • Timely delivery of assigned Compliance Monitoring reviews and the identification of compliance-related issues and follow-up of remediation actions
  • To support Compliance related projects where necessary and complete ad hoc tasks to support the Head of Compliance Monitoring
  • To support Compliance Monitoring team members and share learning points
  • Plan assigned reviews in line with scope agreed with Head of Compliance
  • Conduct testing of the Bank’s processes and controls, in line with Compliance Monitoring methodology. This requires analytical skills and sound judgment
  • Present findings to senior stakeholders across the bank
  • Negotiate and agree appropriate remediation of findings identified
Your Profile
  • You have minimum 2 years of experience in an audit-like function
  • You preferably have previous experience in a Compliance/Legal/Consultancy department
  • Project Management experience is considered an asset
  • Knowledge, skills and experience in Corporate Banking products and services, and Prudential risks and Financial Conduct areas is considered an asset
  • You are fluent in Dutch and/or French, and have good communication skills in English
