Dow Consumer Solutions has an exciting opportunity as Customer Manager for Mobility & Transportation (m/f/d) in Europe . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing and new customers relationships, selling Dow products and solutions while identifying new opportunities for unmet customers’ needs. Focused on the growth of market share participation and capture of new opportunities for the products within the business portfolio. The incumbent must have outstanding selling and negotiation skills to manage new or existing customer relationships, knowledge of the key participants of the market share and be able to identify industry opportunities and customer needs resulting in sales and profitability of the business. Be able to energize, motivate towards sales results.Key responsibilities:
- Manages sales of large, complex, and geographical diverse accounts with the key objective to maintain, then grow in alignment to the sales/marketing plan.
- Utilizes the local account team to manage customer needs and solutions.
- Manages account portfolios - prepares and implements account plans.
- Leads and coordinates customer relationships.
- Develops and executes sales/marketing plan, delivering both value and volume.
- Collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape sales/marketing plan.
- Leads/conducts negotiations and implements price changes.
- Collaborates with other function(s) stakeholders to deliver improving CX result.
- Uses CRM, DSR, CMT, Smart Pricing at “expert” level.
- Delivers growth, including cross business opportunities.
- Understands the advantages and disadvantages of different business models as they relate to strategy.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Business administration or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in market facing functions, such as Sales, Marketing, Business Research, Application Development, or Technical Service is required
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken in a business environment is a must
- Solid interpersonal, networking, teamwork, communication, collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel across Europe up to 60% of the time.
- Strong Business acumen and professional level of computer literacy is a requirement
- Candidates must demonstrate high level of leadership and credibility and work independently
- Candidates are expected to understand the business indicators, external market factors, market demands, value chain, source of growth
- Candidates are also expected to define risk adjusted financial projections
