AGC Automotive Europe specializes in providing customers with complete solutions in terms of car glazing and related technologies. It includes production and sales of products to vehicle manufacturers (Cars and Trains) in terms of Glazing, Added Value products and components systems; as well as a complete range of service in the aftermarket area from production to distribution and retail.

Within the context of the shift of the automotive commercial strategy “From volume growth to profit growth” the creation of new solutions (product or service) based on the value recognition by the customer (car maker, new mobility stakeholder or end-consumer) is a key pillar.

A new dedicated structure called Incubation Factory has been created in order to take the lead on the development and the start-up of disruptive solutions and business models within AGC Automotive Europe. The Incubation Factory is currently starting up a new connected car service called Jack, relying on IoT technology and data analytics, and is looking for an experienced customer project manager to bring that solution further on the market, at international scale (discover more about our solution on https://smart-jack.com/en) .

Your mission:

  • Further strengthen the Jack Commercial Team by leading and supporting customer delivery projects. Scope and manage results, timelines, budgets and resources.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships and teamwork between Jack and its customers.
  • Identify and resolve risks and dependencies, including identifying contingency plans.
  • Communicate status, changes, and dependencies to applicable partners throughout the project. Lead cross functional meetings with a range of internal and external stakeholders

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders (Operations and Technical teams) to develop project plan including project scope, milestones, deliverables etc.
  • Manage effective project implementation and delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Align Jack’s business targets with the project’s objectives and outcomes
  • Identify and manage logistics/ supply chain requirements, quality reviews, documentations and meetings required for project execution
  • Improve customer relationship by providing timely and accurate responses to their inquiries.
  • Inform project status, schedule and key issues to customers and management on regular basis.
  • Perform negotiations on project activities with customer when required.
  • Maintain and update a database of project related documents.
  • Report to Jack CEO and Jack Commercial Manager (functionally)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in commercial management or similar.
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the business requirements and recommend alternative technical and business approaches.
  • Demonstrated success in leading customer delivery projects from start to finish.
  • Practical knowledge of project management processes, workflows, and terminology
  • Big-picture thinking and vision
  • Relevant experience or strong affinity in automotive industry or mobility services and technologies is an asset.
  • Autonomous, pro-active, entrepreneurial spirit, agile, willing to work within dynamic team, strong negotiation and influencing skills, with personal and organizational sensitivity, open to travel.
  • IT literature including good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Comfortable with digital communication tools and strategies.
  • Fluent English language mandatory. Knowledge of any other language is a plus.
