Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Customer Service Officer EU to take our brands (Unistrut, Vergokan, Flexicon) to the next level. The Customer Service Officer is responsible to serve in excellence their customer portfolio from the first contact until the invoice. They will prepare quotations and treat + follow-up orders, expresses, complaints, returns, special requests, questions of availability. They are the first contact and administration for our customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong language knowledge (Dutch, French and English fluently written and spoken, a thorough knowledge of German is an important plus), is used to working with SAP and/or Salesforce, is accurate and flexible, has a relevant education at Bachelor level and solid experience in a similar function within the industrial sector. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
What you’ll do:
- Processing and following up on clients and orders in the ERP package (SAP)
- Answering questions by phone, chat or e-mail regarding availability
- Collaborating with the Sales team to ensure orders run smoothly (EDI orders, mail, Portal, Salesforce)
- Communicating with customers and internal departments on volume requests, delivery time etc
- Requesting transport and resolving any delivery problems
- Handling technical questions from customers
- Analyzing and preparing quotations based on specifications, follow-up in CRM - Salesforce
- Follow-up of Customer Portal requests
- Processing and follow-up of express shipments, complaints and returns
- Follow-up required documents and certificates for export customers
- Strong language knowledge (Dutch, French and English and preferably German)
- You have a relevant education at Bachelor level and solid experience in a similar function within the industrial sector
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, SAP and/or Salesforce
- Any knowledge of customs legislation and export is a bonus

- Analyze, prepare and work-out quotations
- Manage an efficient client portfolio that delivers Atkore’s strategy.
- Have meaningful solution orientated conversations with your clients keeping all brands in mind.
