We from Adecco Belgium are currently looking for a Customer Service Specialist in Rekkem, Belgium, who will join the Road team of our partner DSV.

DSV is one of the largest global players in transport and logistics, employing more than 75 000 people in over 90 countries.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be “the first point of contact” for the DSV Key Account customers entrusted to you and, as the point of contact, you look after all transport-related questions and orders in close consultation with the operational services.

Tasks

Your main duties:
  • You achieve and assure customer satisfaction and customer loyalty at a very

high level
  • You receive the incoming transport orders, check the data provided by the

customer, request additional data from the customer if necessary and

finally pass on the transport orders to the operational departments for

further planning
  • You follow up the transport assignments in the company’s shipping package
  • You intervene if transport assignments threaten to be executed incorrectly with regard to the predetermined planning.
  • You communicate in a respectful and professional manner with the customer and

the operational services in view of an acceptable solution for both

parties
  • You deal with any complaints and/or escalations in a correct and

customer-oriented way
  • You accurately administer all interventions based on KPI reporting

Requirements
  • You already have a work experience in customer service or have recently graduated with a

hbo-/wo- diploma
  • You have a good oral and written knowledge of both Dutch and English
  • You are communicative, assertive, customer-oriented, proactive, careful, flexible and stress-resistant
  • You have a good knowledge of MS-Office and are an easylearner to new programs
  • You have an international mindset and an affinity with supply chain management
  • You can work autonomously as well as in a team
