Title: Cybersecurity Project Manager
Languages: English, Dutch, and French
Objective: Ensure the timely delivery of one or more projects within the defined scope, budget, agreed quality, and according to the project methodology. Facilitate communication with stakeholders and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in determining the business case by collaborating with the Business Relationship Manager (BRP) and the customer, considering processes, procedures, constraints, risks, dependencies, etc. Build a network of specialists within the customer and suppliers for proper project follow-up and execution.
Initiate and plan projects, including estimating resource requirements and costs, aligning technical direction with the architect, ensuring compliance with legal requirements (GDPR, CISO, etc.), and communicating detailed scope, planning, and budget to the project team (kick-off).
Monitor project governance, including financial status, scope, capacity, and timing. Regularly communicate progress, agreed scope, adjusted planning, and manage risks and issues with the project team, escalating when necessary. Coordinate necessary content information for contract management.
Communicate regularly with the Business Project Manager about project progress. Provide updates through Project Status Reports to B-IT and the customer. Continuously monitor actual cost, effort, and progress.
Lead project closing activities, holding a meeting with the customer and the project team, documenting lessons learned, and ensuring a smooth handover to Operations and support teams. Additionally, manage team planning, maintain a positive team atmosphere, safeguard the organization’s reputation, ensure efficient and high-quality delivery, resolve conflicts, monitor team workload, and communicate progress. Emphasize knowledge management, including staying updated on IT market trends, continuing professional development in project management and soft skills, and sharing knowledge and experiences within the PM community.
Requirements:
Assist the customer in determining the project’s business case. Define and Communicate project scope, planning, and budget. Monitor, coordinate, and communicate project progress (governance). Ensure a smooth transition and handover of the project, including necessary documentation, training, and communication.
Monitor and motivate the project team.
Stay updated on IT market trends (knowledge management).
Knowledge and Experience:
Master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
In-depth knowledge of project management.
People management skills.
Knowledge of Change Management.
Knowledge of IT platforms, software, and IT solutions within the domain (Infrastructure, Telecom, Application, Solution).
Basic knowledge of Scrum, ECM, or SAP.
Thorough knowledge of processes within the domain (according to the IT4IT standard architecture).
Certifications in ITIL©, PMP©, Prince2©, SCRUM, PM2©.
Basic knowledge of the customer’s organization and operations.
Knowledge of waterfall and agile project methodologies.
Knowledge of internal (work) procedures and regulations within the organization.
Familiarity with common and company-specific software.
