Position Overview

ISS is seeking a Data Analyst for the Israel region. You will analyze corporate governance and financial information and collect corporate governance information on publicly traded companies in Israel.

The position will be based in Brussels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collect corporate governance information on Israeli companies, analyse documents on timely basis and enter data in collection application
  • Corporate governance data includes information on the board of directors, audit and risk oversight functions, statutory shareholders’ rights, and director compensation data.
  • Compensation data ranges from pay data on CEO and other executives, equity plan analysis, policy analysis and burn rate and dilution calculations.
  • Interact with other data analysts over various international ISS offices.
  • Interact with research teams regarding governance policies and applications;
  • Contribute to regular updates of technical data collection methodologies and testing of applications.
  • Support in training and reviewing of newcomers to the team as well as ongoing update of training materials and manuals.
  • Participate to cross market-trainings.

Qualifications
  • Good understanding of finance/capital markets and corporate governance.
  • Relevant university degree, e.g. law, economics, finance, business or political science.
  • Fluency in English and Hebrew is required.
  • Very strong analytical ability, with the ability to assimilate large quantities of information.
  • Excellent eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while also working successfully in a team environment.
  • Organized and structured mind, with excellent time management skills: able to deal with large quantities of work and strict deadlines, particularly during the season of Israeli general meetings.
