Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst for a challenging assignment within an organization with a strong social impact. The team you will join is responsible for delivering reports and dashboards that provide management and various teams with insights to monitor performance and identify problems early on. You will also provide data for strategic decisions and support AI initiatives by making relevant datasets available.

Your responsibilities:
  • Develop and improve interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Analyze complex datasets to discover trends and insights.
  • Serve as the point of contact for the business within a functional domain.
  • Coordinating activities within a team of approximately 5 people.
  • Translate business requirements into technical analyses and documentation.
  • Support strategic decision-making through data-driven advice.
  • Collaborate with agile teams and contribute to sprint planning, story refinement, and backlog management.

Required Skills
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong SQL knowledge (independent query writing).
  • Experience creating dashboards and reports (e.g., with MicroStrategy, OBI, or similar BI tools).
  • Understanding of data analysis architectures (ETL, data warehouses, event-driven systems).
  • Experience with data modeling (3NF, data vault, dimensional).
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum (story point estimation, backlog, refinement).
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and a good command of English.

Desired:
  • Experience with unstructured data and large data volumes.
  • Knowledge of data virtualization tools and event-driven architecture.
  • Basic knowledge of Python (code reading skills).
  • Experience with SAS (Enterprise Guide), Kafka, and Apache NiFi.
  • Knowledge of ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) is a plus.
  • Experience as a Product Owner within an agile team.
  • Insight into trends and developments in data analysis.
Skills Required:
  • Familiar with tools such as Apache NiFi, Kafka, and data virtualization – 4 Years
  • Experience with BI reporting and dashboarding (OBI, MicroStrategy or similar) – 4Years
  • Knowledge of data modeling (3rd normal form, Data Vault, dimensional) – 4years
  • Basic knowledge of AI and how data can be used for statistical insights.
  • Coordinating activities within a team (±5 people)
  • Strong communication skills (Dutch & English).
