Are you looking for a new challenge as a Data Consultant?We are looking for a Data Consultant (H/F/X) for a company in the environmental sector.As a Data Consultant, you will be responsible for the digitalisation and automation of their internal work processes. In this company, innovative and modern data management is becoming increasingly important. This to support the various environmental services they offer to their customers.These work processes include collecting, managing, providing and visualising environment-related data. Putting field computers into use during site visits and sampling is a logical step, but you go beyond. You take care of the expansion and integration of innovative, digital techniques and equipment. For data management and visualisation, you will use GIS, FME and AR/VR.In this role, you’ll mainly deal with?
  • Using existing technologies and solutions and adapting them to the needs and requirements of their environmental consultants
  • Developing the data management of their complex information system
  • Automating, digitalising and optimising existing work processes
  • Presentation and visualisation of data, including 3D models
  • Development and implementation of new data management services in their portfolio
  • Knowledge transfer among their various offices and cooperation with the different departments
  • Participation in the development of new services (e.g. VR/AR applications)
Profil
  • Graduated in geo-ICT, geomatics, geography or sufficient equivalent experience to thrive on
  • You already worked with FME. For presentation and visualisation of data you already had extensive exposure to GIS and AR/VR, Python is also desirable.
  • You work in an independent and thorough manner, your friends call you a perfectionist for a reason and organising yourself is child’s play.
  • You master computer language like no other, and your social and communication skills are also quite well developed.
  • You are proficient in English and French or Dutch is fluent
  • Finally, you are passionate about technology and constantly looking for innovations and solutions to problems that have not yet arisen
