About the Data team ????‍????

The Data team plays a transversal role within We Invest: we are working together with all the departments and the franchisees to bring data at the forefront of each decision taken.

As a Data Engineer, you will be working closely with the key departments from product, marketing and sales teams to unlock the next stage of We Invest’s growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to further build the data function at We Invest and cultivate a data-driven culture! You will have a direct influence in growth, product, marketing and strategy initiatives. If you are curious, a creative non-linear problem solver and eager to influence decision making, we’d love to have you in the team!

About the job ????

As part of the Data Team, you will be responsible to:

• Enhance our SSOT
• Gather the proper data, consolidate and prepare the data for our BI and ML initiatives
• Maintain our Lakehouse
• Improve our Data Governance
• Help formulate the needs of the different departments and elaborate the correct strategy
• Collaborate with the different departments
• Develop the documentation and the data catalog
• Gather vast amounts of data about real estate
• Provide new ideas to improve our products
• Define strategies for monitoring the validity of the extracted data

About you ????

• As a Data Engineer, you have experience with the ELT and data processing tools we’re using (PySpark, PostgreSQL, Airflow), a broad knowledge of data types and have a basic understanding of data structures and algorithms
• You are proficient in OOP and Python
• Experience with SQL and data manipulation is required
• Experience with computing technologies and our tech stack (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker and Airflow) and knowledge of version control is nice to have
• Of course you love to work with data, you are born with a great analytical approach and you like to bring your logic touch to successfully propose solutions
• Passionate and animated by delivering quality in your everyday tasks, you love clean code and are familiar with software engineering best practices to make sure you deliver qualitatif (code review, test-driven development, ...)
• You take the ownership and propose actively new ideas to impact the business
• Like a cat, you always get to land on your feet in complex situation and manage to adapt successfully to a fast pace environment
• Eager to learn, you are curious and always make sure to be up skilled according to new tech trends
