Responsibilities

  • Data exploration, data cleaning, data transformation and feature engineering
  • Creating Artificial intelligence and Machine learning models to our industrial production process within our expert system products development, with a direct impact on plant operations
  • Analyze innovative instrumentation data added value to expert systems
  • Creation of models to solve operational problems and develop troubleshooting tools such as equipment anomaly detection, equipment predictive maintenance …

Ideal candidate

Education:University degree: Masters in Engineering /Data science

Experience:Minimum 1 year

Soft skills:

  • Strong complex problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills and ability to explain complex analytical concepts to people from other fields (engineers or business audience)
  • Autonomous, able to work with minimal supervision of a technically more experienced colleague
  • Detailed oriented
  • Driving for Results
  • Team work, collaborative and influencing skills
  • Flexible and open minded to multi-cultural environments

Professional skills:

  • Strong background in Statistics and Mathematics
  • Excellent knowledge of statistics applied to large time series datasets: statistical tests, clustering, regression, classification, dimension reduction
  • Excellent understanding of supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, SVM, Decision Forests, Gradient boosting trees, LSTM neural networks etc…applied to time series datasets
  • Proficient programming skills (Python, R, Matlab ...) and the associated data science libraries (Pandas, Scikit learn, TensorFlow etc…)
  • Experience in database querying (SQL)
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimal travel required (5%)

Is a plus :

  • Experience with dashboard and reporting tools such as PowerBI
  • Familiar with applied physics of an industrial process (e.g., energy, heat and mass balances, combustion, fluid mechanics, emissions …)
  • Understanding of instrumentation and control of an industrial process (flow, pressure, temperature, product quality, regulation loops …)
