Data Scientist

What we would like you to do;

Your role is to provide support for all types of marketing initiatives by leveraging the data that the customer has on its customers. This data is used in a broad range of Machine Learning implementations (e.g. Churn prediction, Next Best Offer, Profiling …) as well as in automated Dashboards created with PowerBI. Aside from supporting day-to-day marketing activities you also play a role in the exploitation of untapped data sources (e.g. app/web traffic, website visits …). Important here is to advise how these sources could be used in existing applications or open up new opportunities (e.g. new type of segmentation). The role requires a solid understanding of predictive modelling techniques within CRM as well as communicative skills to translate the results of those models to actionable insights.

About yourself;

  • Preferably you have a Master in Statistics and/or Data Science;
  • You already have a first experience with a big data infrastructure;
  • And you know how to implement data science projects in Python? Nice!;
  • You are able to follow up end to end project “Machine Learning Project” ;
  • You’re fluent in English and Dutch or French.

Plus

  • Knowledge of Power BI;
  • Experience with querying Hadoop data lake & data wrangling using PySpark.
