Skills, knowledge, experience required:
  • Knowledge of:
  • Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2;
  • Oracle RDBMS 12c/19c;
  • Oracle Fusion Middleware.
  • Good Knowledge of Linux as the Oracle software will be installed on this OS;
  • Good understanding of Oracle core database and fusion middleware architecture and concepts;
  • Strong technical engineering skills;
  • Being adaptive to customer needs and able to work in a team.
Duties/role:
  • Handling tickets raised by functional, technical and business users;
  • Handling alerts raised by the monitoring system for databases and applications;
  • Installing EBS custom patches and version control;
  • Cloning non-production environments from PROD;
  • Installing the 3-monthly Oracle Critical Patch Update, on all Oracle related applications and infrastructure (EBS, OBIEE, SSO, Hyperion, OEM, Linux);
  • Monitoring of the EBS suite and its related products like EBS, OBIEE, SSO, Hyperion, OEM, Linux, etc.;
  • Stopping, starting and bouncing of EBS and all its different components (Apache, oaore, oafm) if needed;
  • Doing general technical trouble shooting and giving consultation to development teams;
  • Interfacing with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
