A company active in the Insurance sector is currently looking to hire a Debt Collection Handler to join their offices in Brussels. Thanks to our experience in finance and in business, you will be the perfect addition to the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Debt Collection Handler will include:

  • Manage a portfolio of debt collection files on Belgian and Luxembourg debtors: Correspond/negotiate with debtors and moderate between debtors, clients and colleagues
  • Manage the relationship with colleagues: Claims handlers for domestic files, partners abroad for international files
  • Play a key role in developing the expertise within the debt collection department by working hand-in-hand with the sales department
  • Attending meetings together with the sales department in order to promote new products-Be the main point of contact with Finance, Product Owners, Sales and Claims departments
  • Manage the relationship with third parties regarding debt collection files (clients, lawyers, collection agencies)
  • Take care of insolvency and bankruptcy activities: follow up internally with external lawyers-Follow up of legal actions with lawyers

Your profile:

  • You have a Master’s in Finance or Economics
  • You have a minimum of 5years experience in a similar role in debt collection
  • Prior experience in business is a plus
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. The knowledge of French is a plus.
