Janssen Pharmaceuticals, LLC is part of the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies. The Director Supply Chain Resiliency is a new position and will be part of the Value Chain Management Organization within JSC. The position is responsible for providing guidance and recommendation to functional supply chain leaders on end-to-end supply chain risk management using fact based management tools and strategies. The role provides strategic oversight to sustain and improve JSC`s capability to effectively identify, prioritize and mitigate risk that may compromise JSC`s reliable product supply. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the value chain management risk process for JSC across the products and product portfolio. Prioritize product assessments and refreshes, ensuring progress to plan (owned by the Value Chain Leader (VCL) and Value Chain Team (VCT) for the product). Facilitate assessments and refresh, specifically the FMEA exercise with the VCL/VCT Driving VCLs to create robust Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for their products (creation of the mitigation action plan (MAP) from the assessment). Provide portfolio-based overview to ensure individual product BCPs/MAPs are aligned to the functional strategies and make sense across the portfolio of products. Consolidate the mitigation action plans (MAPs) cross products and sites and ensure alignment with stakeholders on prioritization. Consolidate the investment for LRFP/BP for product BCPs/MAPs, this can include dual sourcing as well as inventory strategies. Track progress of product mitigation action plans, with a cadence of updates to Value Chain Management and Janssen SC Leadership, provide input to the J&J Supply chain team on JSCs progress. Participate in crisis management/recovery activities if required; potentially play a leading role in the event the crisis is cross-product and JSC focused. Ensure JSC, VCM and VCLs are aware of new governmental regulations changes on product BCP requirements. Facilitate JSC level management review on product value chain resiliency. Develop a process with the MTO, Deliver, Source and Plan functions to create a consolidated view on JSC resiliency. Act as the primary interface to JJSC VCRM and through this relationship actively participate in shaping, improving, and implementing standards processes, risk policies and insights creation. Lead the deployment of the resiliency index for VCM/JSC in collaboration with JJSC. Support JJSC in communicating to governments and customers on BCP policy. Build effective partnering relationships combined with strong consensus management and collaboration skills. Influence others without direct authority Understand the overall business environment, business acumen, outside orientation and networking capability Utilize systems and data management skills to drive analytics. Familiar with all aspects of the supported area, knowing how value is created in the business, understanding the key levers to drive breakthrough improvement. Methodical process thinker, oversee the linkage between strategy, dashboards, and business processes. Exhibit great global leadership skills/competencies. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree (University Degree). Minimum of 10 years of Supply Chain experience in a Pharmaceutical or related industry. Experience in Pharmaceutical Value Chains with a good understanding of the role of Value chain management and the Value Chain Leaders. Experience in key Supply Chain functions including Operations, Quality, Technical Operations, Planning, Deliver and Procurement. This position may require up to 25% Domestic & International travel. Preferred Master’s degree (Advanced Degree) Experience in End-to-End Supply Chain. Experience with digitalization. Experience with risk management processes.
