EHS Lead - Contract - Data Centres - Belgium

Our client, a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting, is committed to helping clients, communities, and individuals overcome the pressing challenges of our time. Responsibilities

  • Supporting the shutdown of a heavy mechanical manufacturing site (brownfield) in Charleroi, Belgium
  • The site is being prepared for sale by its owners and as a result, they need to ensure environmental compliance
  • With that in mind, our client our looking for an EHS Lead to oversee the removal of contaminated soil from the site, both externally and underneath the internal building floor
  • Working on behalf of our client who are acting as a General Contractor, you will be responsible for; overseeing the subcontractor completing the works, owning the work permit and LOTO (lock out tag out) process

Requirements:

  • Fluent English and French
  • Prior experience with soil excavation
  • Knowledge or experience working with a vacuum excavator is a huge benefit
  • Candidates will need a valid VCA for this position
