The Monitoring & Observability team is in charge of developing solutions that focus on monitoring and observing applications, services and infrastructure. Our users range from developers and system engineers to service delivery owners and application owners..

The expertise’s in this team are ELK, Dynatrace and general OUR Monitoring tools.

For this vacancy we are looking for someone with in-depth ELK experience and a good feeling with our other monitoring products, or a willingness to learn.

The Observability team builds and maintains solutions that make getting insights from real-time data turnkey and efficient, such as our APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, Log & metrics Analytics, Alerting, etc..

When developing these solutions, we think about the problem end-to-end: how do we automatically collect data from common data sources, how do we store it efficiently, how do we present this information to the user, what actions do we take on the insights from the data?

All of these aspects are important in bringing a turnkey solution to our company.

Responsibilities

In our Scrum team you will come into contact with many different Infrastructure and Observability tools and -environments.

You’ll be working for the day-to-day operations where you are responsible for stability, maintenance and management of “mission critical infrastructures” and also in a an Agile team on new and existing solutions to implement our Observability roadmap.
Install updates and latest products
Create technical and enduser-documentation
You will be working closely together with our clients on Observability to collect logs and metrics from all the systems that matter to our users, using the current and next generation technologies.

You will analyze our clients requirements, discuss and approve on the setup and implement. An end-to-end responsibility where optimal customer satisfaction is in perfect balance with internal our IT strategy.

First and foremost a great interest in the world of monitoring and observability and gusto to learn about it and help users all over our IT organization.

Ability to work in a fast paced start-up environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A great teammate with strong analytical, problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently
Already some exposure to Observability, Performance or Availability tools or services
