We are currently looking for a Contracts and Tenders Specialist, EMEA who will have responsibility to monitor, maintain and support activities related to tenders and framework agreements.

Responsibilities
  • Development of standard work for tender analysis tracking / database, to monitor revenue achievement across the region, including Funnel Management for Tenders & Frameworks.
  • Tender Library Compilation with responses for all major product lines.
  • Essential to understand the life cycle of the tender process, to support the Commercial Team with key decisions throughout the process.
  • Understanding CRM design to identify and develop reporting for the Commercial teams to monitor their contracts and tender opportunities.
  • EMEA Territory analysis, working closely with the Manager of Inside Sales EMEA for tender forecasting / identifying potential risks and future short and long term opportunities.
  • Track OPEX throughout the year for impacts in spend through registrations, portal subscriptions, E-Commerce applications, KPI penalties.
  • Identify relevant competitor product updates that would impact future revenue opportunities, working in collaboration with Marketing / Sales.
  • Provide market analysis reports from industry and relevant media industry updates to key teams.
  • Drive and monitor the legislation / accreditation requirements for each country to achieve legal compliance in response and contract support.
  • Ability to identify if there are quality management and regulatory requirements that could impact our ability to support the marketspace.
  • Ensure copies of insurance, data protection certifications, quality management documents, sustainability, compliance, business continuity statements, financial statements are up to date for tender submissions.
Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Life Science with a focus on molecular biology. Knowledge of the clinical market a plus. Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent professional experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Contract Management and legal contract / negotiation / interpretation is essential to the role (more than 3 years a plus). Ability to support and conclude dispute / resolution process alongside Commercial Teams and Senior Management is a vital area for the role.
  • Fluent English is essential. Additional European languages a plus.
  • Able to confidently provide primary decisions and authorizations on tender / contract submissions. Ability to interpret T&Cs and Commercial offerings that do not put the company at risk.
  • Experience working with all key member departments to secure important change management for New legal registrations and able to advise Senior Management on directional deviations to avoid lengthy legal arbitration.
  • Must be able to construct contract legal response communications in line with company policies and standards.
  • Proactive, open to working with different teams, from Sales to Legal. Flexibility, empathy, resilience, ability to interact with different personalities and cultures.
  • Home-office based; Ability to engage other teams remotely. Matrix management.
  • High organizational skills
