At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Endpoint Systems and Integration Engineer to join our Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium team.

What will you be doing in this role:

  • Define and manage scope, requirements, and prioritization for medium-complexity initiatives, ensuring stakeholder input, alignment, and traceability.
  • Establish baselines, facilitate formal agreements, and support the selection and application of appropriate requirements methodologies.
  • Plan and lead systems development projects, selecting and adapting methods, tools, and practices aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure efficient resource planning and usage, monitor progress, and enforce compliance with architectural, security, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps to guide and communicate development activities.
  • Provide technical expertise for system configuration, integration planning, and test execution.
  • Collaborate on defining integration builds and ensure testing environments are properly set up.
  • Document integration components, perform tests, and contribute to continuous improvement of integration tools and processes.
  • Serve as the top-level technical escalation point for managed client devices (Windows, macOS, iOS), addressing complex hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, security, applications) to ensure seamless device support and integration.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues and minimize downtime.
  • Implement and maintain authorized software changes, ensuring compliance with configuration, documentation, and security policies.
  • Provide and coordinate Level 2/3 support, including help desk escalation and on-site response, ensuring high service availability.
  • Proactively apply monitoring and automation to ensure 24/7 system functionality, following industry best practices tailored to Institution-specific needs

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Communications, Computer Science, or a related discipline with minimum 2 years of post-degree experience in IT Systems Management or at least 6 years of progressive experience in relevant roles

Proven experience in:

  • Managing Windows Server and Client OS environments (10,000+ endpoints).
  • Microsoft enterprise technologies: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, MECM, Intune, Teams, Exchange Online.
  • Security concepts: PKI, least privilege, data protection (in transit and at rest).
  • Authentication methods (e.g., 2FA, AAA).
  • Designing, deploying, and supporting Windows clients in large-scale distributed settings.
  • Technology evaluation and roadmap development.
  • Coordinating system upgrades, patches, and service changes across teams and sites.
  • Coaching and supervising technical staff.
  • Writing and maintaining system design documentation.
  • Good knowledge of English

Desirable:

  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., for technologies listed)

Knowledge of:

  • Data classification and protection tools.
  • Trellix endpoint security, DLP, host-based firewalls.
  • Lansweeper Server.
  • COTS storage solutions and cross-platform OS support (Windows/macOS/iOS).
  • ITIL practices and SLA compliance.
