Goodman is developing as a real estate and energy player. In that context, we are looking for an experienced "Energy Lead / Manager / Specialist" to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing cost and revenue streams in our energy ecosystem. You will also be involved in analysing energy data collected on our sites and in defining strategies to define and achieve our energy objectives. This unique opportunity allows you to be at the forefront of the low carbon transition of the logistics sector.

More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to:
  • Develop informed trading strategies to optimize revenue streams and to create a win-win situation between Goodman and our customers
  • Monitor European energy markets
  • Manage and maintain relationships with energy providers and our customers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Analyse energy production and consumption on our sites
  • Negotiate energy contracts (corporate PPA’s, offsite PPA’s, solar leases, etc.)
  • Assist our customers in planning for future by providing consulting on other sources of energy and alternative energy management systems
  • Buy/source electricity and gas for industrial real estate properties across Europe.
Do you recognize yourself?
  • Experience in the energy market
  • Strong understanding of energy market dynamics and regulations
  • Understanding of different types of energy contracts and how they are negotiated
  • Proven track record of successful energy trading and negotiating PPAs
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with energy providers and clients
  • Negotiation skills
  • Team player
