Our client, a international leader in the manufacture of performance coatings is looking for a Global HR Director (F/M). As a critical member of the leadership team you will develop the company’s human resources strategy and coordinate activities and HR teams in Belgium, UK and Italy.

Responsibilities :

  • Establish a global situation and advise the CEO and senior management team on human resources and learning issues.
  • Work within the organization (+-300 persons) to strengthen systems, processes and people infrastructure.
  • Develop, sustain and promote a strong and positive culture within the company.
  • Build key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices in human resources.
  • Review, develop and manage current compensation and benefits programs at all levels of the company.
  • Oversee the implementation and monitor standards for workforce management and scheduling programs.
  • Assist operations management with labour issues as required, including participation in contract negotiations, arbitrations, grievance resolution and unfair labour practices.
  • Develop programs to recruit, develop and retain top talent for the company, including effective recruitment strategies, total compensation strategies, employee retention and career development programs.
  • Coordinate career development and succession planning;

Profile :

  • Degree in human resources or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience coordinating different HR departments in multiple countries at once.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent listener and communicator in order to manage and work with all levels of staff.
  • Fluent in English & Dutch, French and Italian are considered as an advantage.
