What you will do

• You will be responsible for managing the events assigned to you with a special focus on quality, flexibility, and customer friendliness.
• You will do so by translating the project into a set of concrete deliverables and coordinating a timely delivery within budget.
• You will coordinate event logistics and publicity as well as the design, production, and distribution of advertising.
• You are responsible for planning all the event-related tasks in the planning tool, respecting the agile workflow. You work very closely with all the colleagues within the Materialise marketing agency and you make sure that all involved parties are aligned.
• You ensure alignment with your internal clients (campaign managers from our different divisions and regions) on status and performance. You advise on (event) tactics and best practices and encourage trusting relationships.
• You communicate effectively with a wide variety of external suppliers.
• You attend events if/when necessary to facilitate their success.
• You are responsible for all the administrative and financial follow-up of your projects.
• You are responsible for post-event reporting and retrospectives.
• As a general principle, you make sure that all your projects are delivered successfully, meeting the established quality requirements and deadlines.

Your profile

• You have 1+ years of relevant experience in marketing and event organization.
• You have excellent organizational and planning skills, and you are very detail-oriented.
• You are able to handle pressure and have a hands-on and resourceful attitude.
• You have the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• You are a team player: you can easily motivate and engage others to bring out the best in themselves.
• You are customer-orientated, open-minded, and creative.
• You are not afraid to take initiative.
• You have excellent English communication skills, spoken and written. Any other language(s) would be an asset.
• You are not looking for a standard 9-5 job, but want to challenge yourself on a daily basis in a very diverse job.
• You are available to start as soon as possible.
