At Poco Loco and Paulig we don’t sit still. In Roeselare we currently have two production sites for chips, taco shells, tortillas & dinner kits. And we are building a new production facility for tortillas.

Factory Manager

As Factory Manager you are responsible for the management, organization and planning of all production activities of our greenfield factory that is currently being constructed in Roeselare. In function of this, you determine, implement and guarantee the realization of the operational objectives.

You report to the Operations Director.

Your Responsibilities

As a leader, you role model the safety culture and make it your first and foremost concern that your employees truly live this safety culture.

You are an excellent people manager: coaching, motivation and management of the team (70 FTE) is your thing. Together with your Production Manager and Team Leaders you are responsible for deploying the right talent in the right place. You ensure regular and structured employee involvement and the realization of the joint objectives.

You are responsible for a well-functioning system of cost control in the field of production and productivity. You control this entirely by means of concrete KPIs and you report on this to the management.

Together with your Maintenance Manager and Coordinators, you organize efficient maintenance of the installations via the internal maintenance department, you avoid downtime and guarantee the continuity of the processes.

You are responsible for the organization and proper functioning of the QC lab.

You measure, follow and report the environmental KPI’s in order to guarantee compliance.

You consult and collaborate with the social partners in order to enrich the social dialogue.

You closely follow new evolutions and developments in the field of production and you also transfer this knowledge to the team.

Your Profile

You have a Master’s degree and can look back on 10 years of experience in a managerial position in a (Food) production environment.

You are an inspiring and motivating people manager with good leadership skills, who flawlessly guides and directs his teams and departments in this growing company. You can propagate change and encourage people to take responsibility and initiative. Ideally you have experience working with people in a shift system.

You combine strategic thinking with strong problem-solving skills and professional pragmatism.

You have knowledge and experience in structuring, managing and continuously improving processes in one or more complex production sites.

You are analytical, have a critical mindset with regard to existing flows and like to strive for optimization.

You communicate fluently and clearly at all levels in Dutch, English and French.
