Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing European real estate player with activities in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Belgium, The Netherlands and France. To support their continuous growth, they have created a new role within their organization and are looking to recruit a Finance & Business Controller.


Your job:

As a Finance & Business Controller, your responsibilities will mainly include, yet not be limited to:

  • Overseeing the quarterly closing process focused on associated reporting exercises;
  • Providing financial analysis around growth and margins;
  • Driving the quarterly Rolling Cash Forecast process;
  • Preparing monthly cash-flow analyses and explain deviations;
  • Analyzing project budgets vs actuals;
  • Analyzing projects’ profitability, productivity and other drivers to support the decision-making process;
  • Managing and further developing the business intelligence tool;
  • Spotting, understanding & explaining anomalies and/or deviations;
  • Conducting reviews with the business units in order to identify and drive improvements;
  • Promoting compliance with Company Policies and Procedures as well as supports all regulatory /Local legal requirements including Audits;
  • Challenge financial data and ensure the entire financial control of all the ongoing projects.

Your profile:

  • You hold a Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration;
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in Audit and/or Controlling;
  • Preferably you have experience within a Big 4 Company;
  • Experience in Project Development or Real Estate is an asset;
  • You handle a helicopter view;
  • You have knowledge of the IFRS norms and consolidation;
  • You are a natural born problem solver and have excellent analytical skills;
  • You have experience with a business intelligence tool;
  • You are flexible, have a positive attitude and are down to earth;
  • You are resistant to stress and can set priorities in order to deliver high quality work;
  • You are social, communicative and a real team player;
  • You have a very good knowledge of the Dutch language and a professional knowledge of French and English.
