A production company, based in Leuven is searching for a dynamic, responsible and enthusiastic Finance Manager who will have a crucial role in setting out the business finance strategy and function as the right hand of the CEO.

A Selection Of The Main Tasks As Finance Manager
  • Responsible for drawing up, monitoring and adjusting the financial plan, taking into account the needs of the various departments.
  • Responsible for correct cash flow planning and follow-up.
  • Responsible for drawing up the annual budget and the monthly budget follow-up. The approval flow of purchases is also managed by you.
  • Responsible for correct accounting in close cooperation with the external accountant. You manage the audits by the company auditor in the right direction.
  • Collect, analyze and report financial information to management and provide proactive recommendations in this regard for optimizing the company’s profitability.
  • Contribute to the professionalization of the financial processes, including a purchase-to-pay process.
  • Communicate directly with banks and other external parties, including investors.
  • Construction, renovation and maintenance projects on the buildings and/or infrastructure are coordinated by you, in collaboration with the necessary outside companies.
  • You report directly to the CEO and you lead the Office Manager, with whom you work closely on a daily basis.
Profile
  • University degree in economics or finance related;
  • 7 to 15 years’ experience in audit, business controlling or finance management;
  • First experience in people management is an asset;
  • Solid knowledge of Ms office and other software applications, experience with ERP systems are a big plus;
  • Strong analytical insight;
  • Ability to manage large volumes of work and always keep a good overview;
  • A great sense of responsibility and the right sense of urgency to complete strict deadlines;
  • Able to lead in a clear and transparent manner and you create a climate in which your employees can develop and take responsibility;
  • Open in all your communication with respect for other opinions;
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English is required.
