One of the players in the chemical sector is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager who can lead and manage the company’s financial planning and reporting processes as well as the overall site accounting & control elements. You will play an essential role in the company as being an apart of the business management team to drive financial improvement and growth of the company.

Your tasks as the new Finance Manager:

  • In charge of the financial planning and reporting to make sure there is an accurate coordination and execution around the company’s financial planning and reporting processes
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes at the site
  • Make sure that the monthly profit and loss closing reports are on time and provide your input
  • Oversee the cost allocation methodologies to ensure good business decisions
  • Lead the site profitability and risk & opportunity analysis
  • Create an effective management reporting/dashboard (revenue & cost) as a tool for the management.
  • Manage AP/AR functions and help with the AR processes
  • Give your advice on client creditworthiness, payment and credit terms
  • Act as a financial leader of the site to drive for financial improvement of the business results
  • Lead and control growth project capex analysis
  • Support and coordinate cost savings initiatives
  • Prepare tax return and financial statements in cooperation with the tax advisor
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns on time and in accordance with the local rules. Handling all government questions or requests.
  • Manage financial claims together with the insurance and group risk management
  • Master’s degree in economics or finance
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar organisation/function
  • Solid knowledge of internal and external software packages for process automatization
  • Extensive knowledge and skills of the current fiscal and administrative laws and regulations regarding management and/or company activities
  • Supervise and diagnose the existing systems and have the ability to solve IT and telecommunication problems
  • Hands-on approach with a strong drive for improvement
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Outstanding communicator in Dutch and English
  • Ability to prioritise and organise your own work and the work of others
