Job description

For one of our clients in Geel, we are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Controller who is responsible for financial reporting and managing internal control monitoring. As Financial Planning and Analysis Controller you are responsible for the following responsibilities:
  • You manage the reporting process, perform actuals and budget reporting, consolidate commentary and variances, and run ad-hoc analysis and reports
  • You enforce good, standardized use of financial systems (HFM, Essbase, Smartview, SAP, TM1)
  • You prepare Industrial Dashboard (TdB / P&L) analyses and HFM & TM1 submissions for Long Range
  • You will support compilation of commentary for submissions and support the business controllers in performing more in depth expense analysis
  • You communicate clearly at different levels within the organization

    Have you got what it takes?

    • You have a relevant degree with focus on finance/accounting
    • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting
    • You have a proven track record with regard to process improvement and simplification of financial systems and tools
    • You have experience with Excel and SAP (affinity with TM1, Smartview and/or Essbase is an advantage)
    • You are a team player, stress resistant, pro-active and accurate
    • You have strong organisational and communicative skills: you have the ability to summarise and explain complex subjects to non-experts
    • You are a strong communicator and you are fluent in Dutch and English
