Together with the dynamic, multidisciplinary team of motivated colleagues you are responsible for the delivery of a wide range of exciting and challenging client engagements in the area of Forensic Audit investigation.

  • Investigate and report on suspect fraud and irregularities at (public sector) clients
  • Initiate and participate in further development of our forensics methods such as interviews, file reviews and new technologies e.g. AI, Machine Learning & network analysis
  • Identify recommendations to reduce the risk of future irregularities
  • Deliver the projects on time in accordance with high quality and professional standards
  • Be a trustworthy advisor to our clients in the public sector and a high valued colleague to your team
  • Provide input on business development to grow our public sector services

Let’s Talk About You

Must have

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in areas related to fraud, financial crime, anti-money laundering and financial integrity/ethics
  • Minimum a Bachelor, preferably a Master degree in Business Engineering, Information Technology, forensics or a related field.
  • Fluently, written and spoken in Dutch and English
  • A passion and a healthy interest in public sector processes and organizations combined with a drive to unmask fraudulent behavior.

Nice to have

  • Certified Fraud Examiner
  • Knowledge of French
  • Experience in coaching of younger team members
  • Working experience in auditing, risk advisory, or consulting

In this role, you will work with public sector clients to investigate the reported suspected irregularities. Deloitte Forensics’ methods combines interviews, file reviews and in specific cases also new technologies, such as AI, Machine Learning & network analysis, to help to investigate suspected irregularities and to identify recommendations to reduce the risk of future irregularities.
