For a Client of Hays Technology in Mechelen we are looking for a Freelance data architect.

  • Data lake and DWH
  • Cloud environment
  • Long term project

As a cloud data architect you will have a pragmatic approach regarding the architecture. Besides the architecture you will have a broad interest in all sorts of cloud topics

The company is growing rapidly and can use some guidance throughout their journey. The project is for a long term period and together with the architect they want to set the data landscape of their future.

The skillset that is required consists out of the following:

  • With an extensive cloud data architecture background you have gained a broad knowledge of AWS but stay eager to keep up with other cloud topics.
  • You will have a hands on experience in DWH and Data lake approaches and implementations.
  • During your previous projects you had the experience of working with SQL and NoSQL databases, also have you had contact regarding security and user management. GDPR is a term that does more to you then from hearing it say.
  • Scala and spark frameworks is also a nice experience as it is with Python. Archimate sounds like music to your ears.

Everything happens in an agile (SAFe) environment.
