Frontend Developer - Ghent - Biotech

Our client based in Ghent is looking for a Frontend Developer to join the team on a permanent basis. They will count on your skills and knowledge for the platform that integrates the end-users’ experience with the operational aspects of the product. Focusing on ease of use to help accelerate more groundbreaking discoveries and life-changing technologies.

They have a rapidly expanding customer base, with customers from academic institutions, growing start-ups, and large biotech companies around the world, from industries that include, Biotech, Agritech, Pharma, Renewables & Energy and Material Sciences.

Responsibilities:

  • You deliver maintainable, scalable, efficient, clean, secure, and high-quality code
  • You monitor that the delivered end result meets the set requirements.
  • You are able to work autonomously and proactively find solutions.
  • You can solve bigger/complex problems and have experience in front-end architecture.
  • You have a solid understanding of web technologies and API development.
  • You should have knowledge of semantic HTML and CSS.

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of experience with JavaScript in a front-end environment.
  • Experience with React.js, angular or vue.js
  • Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code is nice to have
  • Fluent Dutch or English speaker.
  • Degree in ICT or equivalent but not essential.
