Your Role and Responsibilities

You are current student at an accredited university in Europe. You want to get real-world knowledge in developing applications used by millions of people, using the latest web, cloud, and AI technologies. This internship is for you. You need to already have some hands-on development experience with web applications using JavaScript, React. You are proactive, independent, and willing to learn. If you chose to reside in Netherlands, we can offer 3-6 month internship. For Belgian based interns we can only offer 3-month internships.

Candidates need to be located or willing to relocate to the Netherlands or Belgium for the period of the internship. The work is performed remotely.

What will you do?

• Work on an agile team developing both Frontend and Backend of a web application
• Develop a micro-service or a web component as part of the overall product
• Deploy your code to a modern cloud environment
• Develop automated tests and documentation
• Research and evaluate new technologies and approaches
• Have access to IBM and other learning platforms to accelerate your career
  
  

Important

Please note that an internship can only be executed in the framework of your education, and you need to be registered as a student at a European University for the full duration of the internship. We provide selected students with an IBM agreement and are unable to sign university agreements.

This internship should last for a period of 60 working days (approximately 3 months).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Having demonstrable experience of web and mobile technologies: JavaScript and modern Frontend framework like React,

Angular or others

Experience with data structures and databases

Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking) is require

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

A Computer Science Degree is not a required but is preferred.
