Function

Main responsibilities

Ensure the supervision of the GL Team and all tasks related to general accounting for the Belgian and French companies of NLMK group:

• participation in the monthly and annual closings;
• improvement of the reporting;
• improvement of the accounting processes and implementation of accounting policies;
• improvement of the monitoring of corporate overhead costs;
• management the daily operations in collaboration with the others departments;
• accounting and monitoring of payroll costs;
• ensuring the reliability of information;
• establish the Belgian and French VAT returns;
• follow-up with external consultants for foreign VAT returns;
• follow-up of legal statistics;
• balance sheet reconciliations;
• ensure the follow-up of taxes with the support of external consultants (Tax returns, etc.)
• preparation of the Belgian & French annual accounts ;
• facilitating contact with external people (Auditors, Tax Advisers, etc.)
• Others tasks linked to the GL accounting.

Profile

Ideal profile:

• Bachelor of Accounting with 10 years of experience in a similar position
• Strong knowledge in the BE Gaap Accounting. (in FR Gaap, it is a plus)
• Notion of knowledge in IFRS Gaap
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP (AA-MM-FI, CO is a plus)
• Language : French & English
• Experience in international accounting or in an audit company (Big4) is considered a plus.
