Job Purpose:

The Technical Pre Sales Consultant Google role will be a pre-sales architect that is responsible for supporting the local country BU and partners in designs, architectures and technical enablement. They combine a deep understanding of cloud technology, applications, industry best practices, business processes and architectural patterns to drive IT transformation initiatives that meet the business objectives of our customers. He/She primarily working internally/externally with the partner base and sales organization on defining solutions and projects.

Ideal Candidates will be seasoned senior level professionals who not only possess deep experience with Google technology but also significant experience in project delivery and technical enablement.

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to support the design of vendor solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Design, plan and deliver Google Cloud (Gsuite) Services Demonstrations and Proofs of Concept
  • Provision of an outstanding quality of service and meet predefined customer service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Use internal and vendor tools to generate accurate bill of materials on a timely basis to serve resellers and their customers and other TD SYNNEX sales teams
  • Ownership of assigned Request Manager resolver group
  • Respond quickly to queries or customer care issues
  • Engage with partners translating business requirements into appropriate G suite technical services and solutions;
  • Deal with product/solution enquiries from internal/external sales and resellers
  • Work with sales teams to profile repeatable solutions for stock and inventory planning purposes
  • Understanding and application of Google promotions
  • Maintain peer-level technical contacts in assigned vendor
  • Work towards the required level of technical knowledge in product or technology group and the achievement of any vendor related accreditation
  • Opportunity to deliver basic post-sales implementation services
  • Maintain up to date Google GCP & G suite Technical certifications as continuous development of expertise

Knowledge Skills and Experience
  • Certified across Google Cloud Platform and Workplace
  • Professional and polished delivery of customer presentations.
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, priority management and planning skills.
  • Good business skills and able to run professional meetings and business engagements.
  • IT industry knowledge - Channel, Vendors, Competition and End User is desirable but not mandatory depending on seniority of role.
