Graduate (GDP) forRheumatology Mission Global Team
UCB is seeking a passionate and driven graduate to jointhe Graduate Development Program (GPD) in the Rheumatology Mission Global Team.The GDP aims to develop the academic knowledge of graduates through alearning and practical journey at UCB, which enables them tomake an impact in the business.
You will have the opportunity to gain experience within our international, dynamic and passionate Rheumatology Commercial team for about 24 months.The position is based in UCB’s headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
We focus on building a program where a UCB Graduate can work in collaboration with diverse teams inside and outside of the Neurology and Immunology Units, be exposed to a set of unique formal trainings and access a network of peers inside the Digital Transformation spaces of both Units and within the Graduate Community.
With this program you will acquire a broad range of professional experience and skills in global market access and global marketing. You will have the chance to start your career in a global corporate environment and shape your professional journey in the pharmaceutical industry. Two graduate journeys are never the same… and this one is an exciting one! There’s a lot more to it, but to get started, this is what is expecting you by the time you join us:
- The CIMZIA Global Mission is building a strategic plan for market access and marketing strategies, based on deep insights about changes to the policy and access environment and impact to the brand and to the overall Immunology franchise.
- Of critical importance is to further engagement, co-creation, and aligned decision-making with local and regional teams to support sustained value for patients.
- You will be a contributing member of 2 key communities:
- Cimzia brand optimization community, and the
- Cimzia market access and pricing community
- As a first rotation of ~12months, you will be a key player in supporting and orchestrating the market understanding and tracking of key events, such as biosimilar entry and impact on market access and commercial strategies.
- Manage multiple agencies engaged to provide market analysis and competitive intelligence, by setting clear objectives aligned to the team’s key strategic questions and ensuring delivery of insights and recommendations.
- Follow key news outlets and share relevant developments with key global or regional teams in real-time
- Facilitate and lead regular meetings with large audiences (100+ people) to discuss insights and implications and ensure follow-up on discussion points.
- Build strong partnerships with key local markets to trade local insights with global insights and align on strategic impact.
- Provide key inputs regarding biosimilar entry into 10YP assumptions
- Work cross-functionally across market access, marketing, medical, technical operations and supply chain to ensure alignment on insights understanding regarding biosimilar landscape evolution and impact for UCB and for patients
- You will also be expected to contribute to strategic discussions for 10YP planning and brand planning to ensure capture of the rapidly evolving environment, developing scenario analyses and organizing strategic discussions across the immunology franchise
- As a second rotation of ~12 months, you will leverage the knowledge that you have gained regarding the evolving immunology marketplace and strong network you have nurtured to rotate into a role in global marketing, where you will gain further experience in the digital evolution for key initiatives and lead key projects to maximize the impact of Cimzia on patients across the globe.
Ideally, this is what your background looks like. However, we are happy for you to challenge us that you’re the right one for this job even if these boxes are not really ticked.
- Recently graduated from a healthcare, digital, engineering, marketing, business, design or related field and/or has relevant experience in digital health, market research, consulting or customer marketing.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Possess good understanding of project management and agile mindset and principles.
- Excellent communication skills to tailor to specific audiences
- Build trust by seeking to understand many different stakeholder perceptions and clear follow-up and translation of different viewpoints into concise strategic or decision-making frameworks
- Ability to take initiative in line with UCB’s values is an essential leadership component
- Strong command of Excel and powerpoint required
And of course, excellent command of English is a must. And it would be great if you can also demonstrate competencies such as: Tech Savviness, Adaptable Mindset, Team Player, Self-starter, Solution-oriented, Proactive Learner and of course, customer oriented.
