In order to strengthen the finance team and to support the growth in the future, a leading production company is seeking to find a Group Accountant for the team in Zele.

You are responsible for the consolidation of the group financial statements, financial analyses and support the preparation of the management reports.

Key responsibilities as Group Accountant:

  • Supporting the local finance teams;
  • Supporting the migration into SAP S/4 Hana Consolidation;
  • Assisting in ad hoc financial projects;
  • Drafting IFRS accounting policies and monitoring internal financial control processes
  • Maintaining the group financial chart of accounts

The ideal profile for the role as Group Accountant:

  • You have a bachelor or master’s degree in finance/accounting, economics of similar
  • A few years’ experience
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and BEGAAP
  • Flexible attitude and a hands-on approach
  • Fluent with excel and SAP experience is a nice to have
  • Good communications and social skills
    Good level of Dutch and English
  • Deadline oriented and able to constantly evolve in a dynamic international environment
