Become our new Head of people!
Sortlist is a global platform making the best matches with suppliers in the marketing and digital field, our mission is to create conditions for successful collaborations in the B2B industry. The company is currently present in Belgium, France, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Romania, Madagascar & Filipino & plans to scale up its presence in the UK & US in the coming years.
We are almost 100 team members in the company and we are planning to double our company size in the coming years.

In order to scale-up the business, we are looking for a talented Head of People who is an excellent communicator, analytic minded, great listener & hands-on.
Your responsibility will be as broad as :
- Develop strong organization strategies, by identifying & researching human resources issues; providing analysis and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction;
- Implement human resources strategies by establishing people accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, onboarding, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention,
- Coordinating with the team assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Manage & develop a pay plan; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
- Train managers to coach & become coach of coaches; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling team conflict & issues.
- Implement employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits ;
- Ensure legal compliance at global level by monitoring, coordinating and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements with the support of law specialists.
- Support managers & coaches by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions;
- Guide employees actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
- Enforce management & coaches guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Retain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.
- Cultivate professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Manages human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.
- Create an professional environment enabling the team members to overachieve their objectives & make them love their job;
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Profiles that are relevant to us:
- Have +2 years’ working experience as Human Resources Manager/Director/Head of People/People Manager.
- Are familiar with Agile, OKRs & Design thinking methodologies
- Eager to learn & transfer knowledge
- Be an excellent communicator and team player, who takes pride in providing high quality support and advice.
- Have a friendly, professional attitude and experience of working with a range of people in a multi-site environment.
- Hands on on Hard & Soft Human resource topics
- Autonomous & proactive
- Excellence driven
- Analytical mind
- Confidence with Excel, HR Software system, ATS , Payroll suppliers, People Management Platform
- As a strong familiarity with Belgian social rights, business ethics & commercial law
- Is educated about* joint labor agreements in Belgium, & has a certainknowledge about the European joint labor agreements*.
- Proven ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments.
- Creative problem solverwho thrives when presented with a challenge.
- Critical and curious to review processes and ways of working.
- Able to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Speak fluent English (mandatory).
- Also valuable: Experience with the tech industry, recruiting developers & product profiles.
