JOB DESCRIPTION
Logistics analyst profile LSE
Main accountabilities
  • Have primary responsibility for coordinating the physical inbound flow of goods, including exception management, re-routing, expediting, and other actions, as needed, to meet “on time and in full” and CPU targets
  • Timely, cost efficient and compliant coordination of inbound product flow from +/- 28 Levi origins till Europe DC’s
  • Close collaboration with our logistics service providers (3PLs - Air – Ocean – Road) , brokers, planning, sourcing and DC teams to ensure timely/compliant and cost efficient product – documentation and data flow into the region
  • Create/analyze/publish KPI’s and reports in support of the Inbound Logistics Europe business
  • Business analyses in support of process improvements – performance reviews – RFPs - projects
  • Support the operational and tactical performance of our logistics service providers with qualitative and quantitative data
  • Support RFP processes: data analyses & requirements gathering & evaluation and implementation support
  • Support in “Deliver on time and in full” & cost & Net Positive improvement initiatives
  • Team up with our internal stakeholders and service providers to resolve one-off or structural issues
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures with our service providers and internal procedures
  • Ensure correct – timely - complete data in our visibility tools and systems of record and resolve issues together with our LSPs and IT
  • Support with invoice queries from our outsourced partner in order to ensure timely payment of LSPs
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Main skills and behaviors required
  • Proven strong operational experience with managing inbound logistics/import processes, from origin through destination (Air – Ocean – Road)
  • Forwarding & customs knowledge
  • Continuous process improvement attitude
  • Ability to work across various business functions – eg. Finance, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply planning, etc and with external logistics providers
  • Proven analytical skills. Turn data into actionable information
  • Proven problem solving & resolution skills
  • High level of accuracy & speed in execution and analyses
  • Team player & excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal – English) - German language skill is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn (systems – processes – Levi processes)
  • Strong Excel literacy & SAP knowledge (GT nexus knowledge is a plus)
  • Proven ability to work in a cultural diverse environment
  • Willing to challenge the status quo

Educational requirements and professional experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct operational experience in an international logistics or SC function
