For one of our clients located in Bruges, we are looking for an indirect buyer. You will be responsible for the spare parts procurement, in alignment with the group supplier panels. You will also ensure, through professional purchasing practices, the availability of spare parts at the right total cost and in good quality.

Your main responsibilities:

  • You manage quotations for spot and frame agreement businesses with focus on costs and quality (respect of time to quote KPI)
  • You interact closely with the internal stakeholders on any risks, issues or opportunities.
  • You manage the supplier relation to a "best in class" level.
  • You work on cost saving initiatives within the scope, in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • You are pro-active in outsourcing possibilities
  • You are based in Bruges with possible travels to other sites in the region or at supplier’s

Your qualification:

  • You have a commercial degree with some technical background by experience
  • You have a solid experience in a relevant role in procurement. (transport industry is a plus)
  • You have a solid level in Microsoft Office Applications, good experience with ERP programs such as SAP or Maximo.
  • You have great social skills (team player and highly responsive and autonomous)
  • You speak fluently Dutch and English. German and/or French is a great plus.
